Youth Advisory Panel at World Resort

Jamal Cabrera, Zackery Yamagishi, Mailaina Kileleman, Jessie Mae Seman and Don Taisacan represented Garapan School during the first Youth Advisory Panel hosted by Kagman High School. There were over 100 participants from each of the public schools on Saipan, Tinian and Rota. The team of five honor society members got to discuss how they feel they can contribute to youth matters and what they think needs to improve in their school. Hopefully, there will be more opportunities for our youth to collaborate in smaller, more intimate groups. We also hope that our new student representative to the Board of Education gets a chance to visit peers and team up for real change, and to find some student centered solutions to issues which affect us!
