September is finally here!

It was a great first day at GES! Despite the confusion about school closures in other villages, all of our over 800 students arrived in time to meet their new teachers and classmates.
The September committee prepared a wonderful spread for teachers and staff. Just the thing we needed to start our very early day. Thank you Ms. Nikki, Mr. Buniag, Mrs. Springer, Mrs. Yamagishi, Mrs. Thorpe, Mrs. Castro, Ms. CC, Mr. Loken, Mrs. Cabrera, Ms. San Nicolas, Ms. M. Tenorio, Mr. Itibus, Mr. Mendez and Mrs. Diaz!!!

Some teachers, like Mrs. Elaine Dela Cruz's class took tours around the campus. Here are the brand new 1st graders greeting the office staff.

We received a brand new generator to keep our water pumps working in the event of a power outage. Yes students, this means that school is in session no matter what!

Parents: Please return all your documents and forms to your child's teacher, with all the necessary requirements filled out. As a reminder, students need to apply for free meal status each year. The deadline and end of the grace period for free meal applications is October 17, 2008. For more information please call Ms. Laura at 237-3341.
