This Week at GES

The Honor Society applications were due on Monday. Applicants will be interviewed this Thursday. Spelling Bee will be on Friday. The winner of the school-wide bee will represent GES on Guam, in the Scripps Howard Regional Spelling Bee in March. No school on Feb. 5 & 6 - it is school level professional development day for teachers and staff.

MLK and Beautify CNMI

Hey Mallards! If you're wondering what you can do with your free day tomorrow, come down to the Fiesta Resort and help Beautify CNMI! clean up in the morning. At about 3pm, we'll gather at the American Memorial Park to join the Martin Luther King Jr. Day March. Audrey Jo entered the esssay contest, so right after we can listen to her share her speech. Be productive, show up and display some Mallard Spirit!

New Flags!

Our Flag Ceremonies are now graced with two beautiful new flags from the GES PTA and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Macaranas. Thank you for your generosity!! The tattered flags are no more.

Cub Scouts

Al Cabael is trying to help us revive our Cub Scouting Program. 2nd through 5th grade boys can sign up at the office. We also need some adult volunteers. Mr. Garon has stepped up! I hope we can get some parents to do the same.
