Principal's Institute Begins

Dr. Joe Pascarelli officially began the Principal's Institute last Saturday. He spoke metaphorically of principals as the lead actors in a movie and of the supporting cast needed to ensure that production went smoothly. We were also engaged in a fishbowl discussion surrounding a case study about policy and how leaders react to crisis situations. The institute will continue until Thursday, but will run a three year course aimed at providing leadership skills to local administrators, program managers, teacher leaders and central office staff. More information will be posted as we continue this journey.
